Samsung announces Galaxy S4 mini goes official
Samsung Electronics launched Samsung Galaxy S4 mini a smaller and cheaper version version of its flagship galaxy series smartphone Galaxy S4 which has already crossed 10 million sales. Galaxy S4 mini aims to deliver superior performance and sleek design of Galaxy S4 in a compact design making it an ideal companion for routine life.
Galaxy Mini S4 boast a 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED display ,light weight of 107g and compact design.
The S4 Mini has a 8 MP camera on its rear, compared with the S4's 13 megapixels as well as a 1.9-megapixel HD front-facing camera. The Mini's 1.7GHz dual core processor is also less powerful than the quad-core processor in the larger model.
It also has 1.5 GB RAM, 8GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD Card.It support 3G HSPA+ with download speed of up to 21 Mbps and features Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with GLONASS, IR LED remote and NFC support ( in LTE version).It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and 1900 mAh battery.
Also present is Sound&Shot, which stores sounds and images together as pictures are taken, Panorama Shot which allows you to take a full view of what you are seeing, and Story Album, which automatically arranges photos in a 'smart' format, tagging and sorting out albums on your behalf.
The S4 Mini also comes with the S Travel app preloaded, which can also recommend travel assistance and information, Group Play, should you want to share listening and gaming with friends, ChatON messaging, S Translator for instant translation, WatchON's IR remote which transforms the device into a TV remote, set top box and DVD player and S Health, which enables you to monitor your calorie balance, exercise and sleeping patterns.
The GALAXY S4 mini will be available in two colors, White Frost and Black Mist.No shipping date for the India as yet.
