Karbonn Smart A1 Star and A5 Star budget friendly handset available for Rs 3514 and Rs 4890

Banglore based Karbonn Mobiles have launched two new budget friendly dual sim handsets, Karbonn A1 Star and the Karbonn A5 star with a price tag of Rs. 3,890 and Rs. 4,890 respectively. These are successors of Karbonn A1 and Karbonn A5.Both these handsets are powered by single core processor with dual SIM support.

Karbonn A1 Star

This dual SIM handset comes with 3.5 inch display screen with 480×320 pixels resolution. It is powered by 1GHz singe core processor runs runs on the two-generation old Android V 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. RAM is 256MB and internal storage is under 200MB (163MB). There is 3MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera. This low cost android handset supports 2G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.  Battery is 1450 mAh capacity. Karbonn A1 Star is priced at Rs. 3,890 @ Flipkart.

The A5 star comprises of a 1GHz single core processor with 256MB RAM and it runs on Android 2.3 OS.This handset comes with a 3.2 inch screen with 480×320 pixels resolution along with 3.2MP primary camera and a secondary camera of VGA resolution. RAM is 256MB and internal storage is 104MB.

It is a dual SIM handset with an outdated Android v2.3 Gingerbread OS but with 3G support that is lacking on the A1 Star. The battery is 1200 mAh. Other features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The Karbonn A5 Star is priced at Rs. 4,890 – via Flipkart.
