Google Tells Microsoft to Remove YouTube App from Windows Phone
Internet Giant Google is unpleased with Microsoft's latest YouTube app, Infact Google executives were so unpleased that they have send Microsoft's Mr Todd Brix, General Manager, Windows Phone Apps and Store a cease and desist letter in order to stop YouTube App.
Microsoft Windows YouTube App allows users to download from YouTube, prevent display of advertisement in YouTube Video Playbacks and play videos that Google's partner have restricted resulting in revenue loss for Google and content creators who make money on YouTube's platform.
Google claims it has direct violation of the terms and conditions of the company's YouTube API.
Google has informed Microsoft to "immediately withdraw this application from the Windows Phone Store and disable existing downloads of the application by Wednesday, May 22, 2013," according to letter, which was obtained by The Verge
