Samsung Galaxy Core with 1.2 Ghz dual core & 4.3” display now available for Rs 15199

Samsung’s mid range Dual SIM Android smartphone Samsung Galaxy Core is now available at online store infibeam for Rs 15199.

The Galaxy Core , which was announced in May’13,  features 4.3 inch touchscreen with 480 x 800 pixel resolution. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by 1.2 Ghz dual core processor. It sports 1 GB RAM , 8 GB internal memory and microSD support of 64.GB. It features 5 mega pixel back camera and front VGA camera, 1800 mAh battery, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and USB 2.0.

Samsung Galaxy Core features host  of advanced tools like Smart Stay, Smart Alert, Motion UI, and S Voice.
‘Smart Stay’: Recognizes when a user is looking at the phone, and saves battery life when a user looks away by  dimming the screen and powering down using advanced facial recognition
‘Smart Alert’: Alerts the user to missed calls and messages when the device is picked up
‘Motion UI’: Activates common functions such as refresh or mute with simple motion commands

Samsung Announces 8 Inch and 10.1 Inch Versions in Galaxy Tab 3 Portfolio

Samsung has announced two new additions in galaxy tab 3 portfolio in the form of an 8-inch and 10.1-inch model.

The 8-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 offers a slightly bigger then Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 unvieled in April by samsung and higher resolution 1280 x 800 display with a faster 1.5GHz dual-core processor. It has a 5 megapixel camera on the back, 1.3 megapixel on the front, 16/32GB internal memory with microSD card slot, 1.5GB of RAM, LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth connectivity, 4,450mAh battery. It's runs on the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.



Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Inch

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 model has similar specifications, including the same 1280 x 800 resolution, there are 2 differences compared to galaxy tab 3 8.0 and that it's stretched over 10.1-inches and a faster 1.6GHz dual-core processor, 6,800mAh battery and strangely, It has a 3 megapixel camera and only 1GB of RAM. Also, as you can see from the image below, Samsung has completely dumped the on-screen keys in favor of physical buttons below the display.

Panasonic to Launch P51 1.5GhZ Quad Core Smartphone at Rs 26990

Panasonic Today re-entered andriod smartphone bandwagon with its global launch of P51 smartphone in india.

Panasonic will be launching an Android-powered 5-inch phablet in India today.
Panasonic is already running ads related to the smartphone in commercial breaks of the ongoing Indian Premier League cricket tournament. According to the ad the phone is powered by 1.2GHz Quad core processor and a 5" IPS Display with 1280x720p resolution and 295ppi pixel density. Scratchproof and damage proof touchscreen from Asahi Dragon Trail.P51 runs on a Andriod 4.2 (Jelly Bean) the latest version of google's open soure mobile operating system.

It possess 1GB Ram and 4GB onboard storage which can be expanded upto 32GB with MicroSD card
From connectivity point of view this dual-sim phone features like 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB. An 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash , while a 1.3MP HD unit is used for front camera. Powered by a 2,500mAh battery, Panasonic P51 comes with a free magnetic flip cover measureing 8.5mm along the waistline, weighs 135gram and will be available in white and black colours.

It is priced at Rs 26,990 and i suppose will have a stiff competition aginst Samsung Galaxy S3, HTC One X, Google Nexus 4.
