Samsung latest mobiles Galaxy Trend and Galaxy Star Pro available for Rs 8490 and Rs 6989 respectively

Samsung earlier has launched many mobiles in mid-range and the latest offering from samsung are the Galaxy Trend and Galaxy Star Pro , for the Indian market.

The Galaxy Trend is also available at a discounted price through e-commerce portal like Flipkart and Amazon.in for a low price of Rs 8,490 where as Galaxy Star Pro is available online on homeshop18.com at a price of Rs 6989

The Samsung Galaxy Trend is included with a 4-inch WVGA ( 480x800 ) TFT screen and is driven by a 1GHz processor. This is a dual-SIM ( GSM+GSM ) smartphone and operates Android 4 .0 Ice Cream Sandwich (as per the official Samsung India estore at Rs 8700) with TouchWiz 4 .0 UI on top . The online retailers seem to incorrectly listing the Galaxy Trend as an Android 4 .1 Jelly Bean device , though it is possible an upgrade is forthcoming.

The Galaxy Trend sports a 3-megapixel rear camera with no flash.The device comes with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of inbuilt storage , out of which only 2 .05GB is user-accessible . It also supports expandable storage up till 32GB by means of microSD card.There is a 1500mAh battery backing the mobile which the Samsung claims will deliver as much as 8 hrs of talktime and up till 350 hours of standby time.

The device has a 512MB of RAM and comes with 4GB of built-in storage, which is further extendable up to 32GB by way of microSD card. It has a 2-megapixel rear camera without a front-facing camera.

Samsung launches Galaxy S4 Mini in India at Rs 27990

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini I9190 is the first Galaxy S4 variant to be officially launched by Samsung. The features as well as the design are trimmed down to match the requirements of mid range smartphone users.

The smartphones is equipped with a cutting edge 1.7 GHz dual core processor and loaded with 1.5 GB RAM which ensures smooth computing performance. This smartphone comes out the box with the latest Android version - 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini I9190 has a 4.27" qHD Super AMOLED display screen that has a resolution of 960 x 540 with a pixel density of 256ppi. This handset weighs 107 grams and it is 8.94 mm thick and comes with a 1900 mAh battery loaded in it.

Samsung’s entry level dual SIM Android smartphone Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo S5312 has been priced for Rs 6999

The Android handset which was unveiled along with Galaxy Star earlier in April is making a late debut in India.

On the specifications front, Galaxy Pocket Neo features a 3-inch QVGA TFT LCD screen, 850MHz processor along with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card, support for Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and A-GPS, 2-megapixel rear camera, Android Jelly Bean operating system, dual-SIM capability, 1,200mAh battery, and comes with Samsung's TouchWiz UI.

Samsung has announced a new addition to its Galaxy family named the Galaxy Ace 3, which has a 4-inch WVGA (480 x 800) TFT LCD. Running Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), the phone has a 5-megapixel camera with LED Flash and a front VGA camera.

Depending on the market, the Galaxy Ace will be available in two different versions - 3G or LTE. The 3G version will come powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, while the LTE version will be engineered with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor.

Moreover, the former has 4GB of internal storage, while the latter includes 8GB of internal storage. Their memory can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. Both have 1GB RAM.

The 3G version has a 1,500mAh Li-ion battery, while the LTE variant has an 1,800mAh battery. Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz, Wi-Fi Direct, BT 4.0, and USB 2.0.

Samsung has recently benefitied a lot from "GALAXY OWN NOW" plan which offers consumers to buy any of their favourites galaxy devices, starting from Galaxy Grand and now continuing the same methodology korean smartphone major has improved things further by hiking cash bank offer on Galaxy Note II

What is important to note is that when samsung could provide an offer for flat Rs 10000 than there are 2 things which comes in my mind , one is either it could be to sell all existing Note 2 and launch a newer version of the same and secondly imagine the profit margin for a product , when samsung could give it at a price of Rs 27000 still there is huge income opportunity.

Galaxy Mini S4 boast a 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED display ,light weight of 107g and compact design.

more UI (user Interface) bells and whistles tucked in here and you will have to dig for deep into the settings. Now, if you dont know what to do
,just pull down notifications bar and you will see everything.
Now i dont user interface is bas and the UI is still just as customizable but its not as clean anymore because there is a lot going on the main
screen. HTC's Next Gen Sense UI is just as fast and snappy running on Android version 4.1.2. Its super clean and easy to operate but time will tell
how quickly it receive future updates as HTC always lack behind in comparision with samsung for updates. HTC's new BlinkFeed panel shows you all
your social media updates and it's a sweet flipboard like addition but if you dont like it , you cant get rid of it. You get all of the android's customizations for creating folders and widgets, but between the two phones this is a cleaner experience.
The HTC One leads in terms of UI and Control.

Features :
Samsung Galaxy S4 is truly the king of features with its powerful 1.9 Ghz Core Quad Processor.S4 allows for interchangeable batteries and expandable memory via a microSD card these things arent possible in HTC one. S4 allows users to work  on two apps in a single screen. Not all apps support this feature, but it's available for a few important ones such as Gmail, Chrome, Twitter, Messages and Youtube. It has Airview for previewing content like glowing up texts on a website by floating your finger on top of it. You can watch a video and then turn away and the video clip will stop automatically until your eyes return to the screen. it also has an interface called S Voice Drive which can be used as a fitness device to track you
steps. It also has a Watch On App to act as your TV remote.
The HTC One Brings up blazing quad core 1.7 Ghz processor and its power button is also an IR blaster that can be used as a TV Remote, Now the HTC biggest distinguinshing feature is its BoomSound dual front stereo Speakers that sound incredible then i have heard on a phone so far. You can add
all the addon features like Android Jellybean features like google maps , Speech to text for search and directions, NFC for sending content from one phone to the other. But both phones can do this
The Galaxy S4 can do almost everything and its win here

Web Browsing and Multimedia
Both phone have their standard browsers and Chrome, providing the same web quality experince. The Galaxy S4 larger screen is nice but i take HTC
BoomSound Speakers over a slightly bigger screen with incredible video playback. From Camera point of view S4 has a 13 Mega Pixel Camera where as
HTC One has 4 Ultra Pixel Camera but GS4 13 Mega Pixel Camera is a clear additions which includes active dual cameras that can include the picture taken in the frame (works with video too), Sound & Shot that stores some audio with still photos; Eraser mode that takes multiple photos and can remove unwanted elements from the frame. HTC One's Ultra Pixel camers is used for low light shooting with aperture of F2.0 but S4 13 mega pixel camera handles low light photos very well and it has a an edge over HCT one.

Battery
Both the phones battery is enough for a day long activities, which includes phone calls, 3G videos, web browsing, emails, social networking, some gaming and a little bit of photography.
Samsung has a 2600 mAH battery vs HTC's 2300 mAh battery, Samsung gains an upper hand for removal battery while for HTC One, you will have to use external Micro USB Battery packs which is actually not recommened when buying a high range smart phone.
Still, on heavy use, the HTC One has an edge here with an average battery life of 13 to 14 hours, when compared to around 12 hours for the Galaxy S4 but, Samsung S4 is a clear winner with removal batteries

Samsung OWN NOW Plan Extended till May 2013

Samsung highly advertised OWN NOW Plan Extended till May 2013 but only for Samsung Galaxy Note II

Samsung has extended its highly advertised  ‘Own Now Plan’ till 31st May 2013 but only for Samsung Galaxy Note II  with few alterations.

The price of the Samsung Galaxy Note II in this offer is Rs 37900 and with 15% cash back of Rs 5685 the effective price comes to Rs 32215.

OWN NOW Plan is also now available for debit card holders but unlike credit card holders they will not get zero percent EMI Facility which means customer will have to pay the full amount and get 15% cash back in their account, Cash Back is available for customers of leading indian banks which includes Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, Citibank( Visa and Mastercard), credit cards of HSBC and debit cards of Standard Chartered Bank

The revised ‘Own Now Plan’ offers 15% cash back only on 6 months zero percent  EMI option but with almost all leading credit cards. The monthly zero percent installment comes at Rs 6317. The cash back amount will be credited back in credit card holder’s account on or before 25th July 2013. One can buy with 6,9 and 12 months EMI option depending on the bank but the 15% cash back is available only with 6 month EMI option.

The earlier version of Own Now Plan included five models from  Galaxy series of gadgets and offered cash back only with 12 month EMI option

Samsung’s Galaxy Own Now Plan for Galaxy Note II will be available till 31st May 2013.

Samsung has launched another Device in galaxy series,Samsung Galaxy Core I8260

Galaxy Core is a low- to mid-range model with a 4.3" WVGA display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5MP camera and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. One of its more interesting features is that it will come in a Dual SIM variant, with Active Dual Sim where the two SIM card slots will be able to remain active simultaneously
